a total of THREE people got access to the game before launch. CohhCarnage (streamer) and 2 other ppl. They could only play the storyline up to a certain mission (operation liberation Panzyr) but they were free to play as much of the merc generated side missions as they like.
So there's not a big pool of people that could supply you with an advanced copy. I have mine pre-loaded on steam already, just waiting a lil under 17 hours till it unlocks.
MODDING: not the same as making a trainer I know. However HBS (harebrained schemes) has been very open and upfront about making the game 'visible' and easy to mod. most info is going to be in .json format and readable immediately in English, so.. hopefully this means not going to be too difficult for you guys to come up with your signature kick ass trainers?
That being said, Trainers being a memory injection/manipulation and way beyond my understanding I don't know how THAT kind of modding will be to accomplish. But they are on record repeatedly saying they're hiding nothing, mod it, break it, tweak it to your heart's content.
They just won't be making any 'official' modding tools because when they did that with shadowrun they ended up spending more time on the tools than they did working on the game itself lol
A few streamers are playing the full release since 20th, but we were only able to preload it on steam today, game unlocks in 12hrs 25min...
Is it to target ****pit of mechs and kill pilot ? So you can get that mech easiest ?
Second best is to knock out the pilot by repeated pilot injury, ammo esplosions, head hits, being knocked down/falling over and side torso destructions all injure the pilot.
Now depending on the pilots Guts stat (their HP) how many injuries they can take changes, default is 3 injuries required, better pilots have higher HP.
Best way to get weapons/equipment salvage is to leg the mech, destroy both legs of the mech and its knocked out, downside is you only get 2/3 salvage parts of the mech, but you keep its guns/equipment available for salvage.
CT destruction/coring a mech destroys the chance of salvaging any of the 3 possible parts of the mech, and can destroy guns/equipment stored there as well.
