So I'm curious if there's any trick to making the trainer work better.
It runs fine, does what I need (I mainly just use the armor/structure cheats in a pinch). The thing is, sometimes the trainer will work practically instantly. Other times (meaning a separate instance of running the game and trainer) it might take upwards of 10 seconds before a feature activates.
I'm not sure what the difference is though between the times the trainer works instantly and when it takes a bit to kick in.
Usually it's scanning to write the new values once the option pressed, it may be immediate or it make ta a few seconds, not much you can do really except keep these cleaned out,

and always reboot to keep the memory clear.
I have tried all the tricks to get this trainer to work and I cannot figure out my issue. I immediately get a failure after pressing an option now. This is after the trainer originally working post tutorial, me saving the game, and then loading my saved game. The trainer will not work off of my saved games or in skirmish mode. I have followed the instructions and the troubleshooting steps. I have reviewed and attempted the deleting files, rebooting, and removing and reinstalling the trainer after a reboot. I run the game and the trainer as an administrator and I ensure my AV is completely disabled.
Nothing works for me. The only options I care for are the armor and health options. The rest is vanilla, but no option I use works. They immediately fail upon pressing the option. Activating the trainer works as intended. I press F1 and it activates as normal and alt-tabbing shows that the trainer is activated.
To CH's credit this is the first trainer I have had this level of issues with in the many years I have been using them.
have you considering that the trainer mite be out of date, 3 have alredy reported that the trainer is not working you know, i am curantly installing the game, so i gonna test if it work for me, if not then i 2 will report
I have the latest version offered on the CH website. I downloaded the trainer on Sunday May 13th.
Did you try what was posted several times?
Delete trainer and all files in
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and
make sure trainer in is folder excluded from virus scans.
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens
may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin and try again.
