I don't know. I've found people are often vague and say things a bit odd so it pays to confirm what they mean.

They mean both in this case. The amount cannot be altered in the trainer itself, and currently they're not considering alternate amount to what they already have programmed in future builds. I can appreciate what it is you're wanting as I'd like the option too, but we're both just going to have to roll with it as is. The real beauty here is the item amount increase. I don't know what HBS was thinking selling singles of decent items on every other planet, but the trainer crew here fixed what they dropped the ball on. That's how I can blow through 100kk cbills in a hurry lol

As I don't know how difficult it would be to make the sum alterable I can't really comment on whether they should put resources into making that the way I feel some of us would prefer. However I do think that resource/money cheats should always be alterable to give the amount the user desires.
also as for HBS dropping the ball on decent items being rare... isn't that the point of decent items? Also you aren't a nationally backed military, you're a mercenary so the good stuff should be kinda rare. Just how I feel about it.
I have been having a problem with 99 items, and many others Not wanting to 'activate' after i save a game and turn it off, next day i try and turn them back on, it just keeps spouting 'Failed' at me.

Delete trainer and all files in
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and
make sure trainer in is folder excluded from virus scans.
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens
may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin and try again.
