The Heat option was working fine last night, but now it fails when I try to use it.
I would have used the requires update option, but I am not sure if that is even the issue. Is anyone else having this problem?
try wiping the files in these folders
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
and reboot, then try again.

Okay i just tried that 13 Times .. Main menu F1 .. good.. then go to skirmish my turn done.. press 1 says "please wait" I wait up to 35min all 13 times.. nothing... Then I alt tab the game and try to click on the trainer.. freezes and windows message comes up saying shutdown program.
No AV program or firewall on.
Question did you at least fire first, what i mean is did you shoot then try pressing 1 cause you need to at least generate some heat first.
As soon as your in the Single Player game and you find an enemy if your mech has lasers or something that generates heat when fired, shoot the enemy as soon as you fire press 1 right after your turn is over you should here Trainer Activated. After that all your mechs Will cooldown after every turn so you can do as many alpha strikes as you want or need.

I'm finding I have to do this every time I restart the trainer or game. Even then often the heat function takes several retries to kick in correctly....and yes, I do generate heat before activating it. It was working fine for days before this started happening. The problem clearly isn't with the trainer necessarily but some related issue with these temp/cache files not clearing properly, or perhaps not overwriting as necessary. I do run the trainer as admin, no noticeable difference regarding this problem.
