at first i wanted to skip FC5 due to Primal (god i hated this game) but i got a key for 25 bucks so id gave it a chance

...and guess what ? .

.. i really like it.
much better than primal but i miss the crafting features from the last games.
yeah it's still buggy as hell and the NPC's sometimes act like complete morons but give it 2-3 patches and it will be a really good game for 25 bucks.

Well I really hate resource systems, not to mention I hate dying. After a long day of work I like to relax "my own way". If I wanted to die multiple times I'll play overwatch.

Primal was a fresh spin on the series, and for me, was very fun.

Given the use of EAC in a single playaer game and the fact it's now keeping a trainer from being made I must decline to buy this out of principle. So I will be passing until EAC is removed.

I started this thread in May a year ago, mainly because I was disappointed that it seemed to be more of the same. Yes I had seen what a hard time CH had with wildlands and other ubi games with EAC but CH kept trying to deal with the choices ubi was making with single player titles.

Far cry 5 deals with many of the issues I had with their rinse and repeat formula, much like they did with AC Origins, it’s sad that they want to control what you can and can’t do with a product you purchased but honestly I am not suprised considering their history and the direction they have been taking.

Hope CH finds a way though, for anyone who purchased it and wants to enjoy the game their way.

Skipped Primal, because, yeah, Primal.
My buddy got both of us FC5 though.
We always have had fun with cooping the games since 3 (which I absolutely hated playing by myself, it was so boring), but if it wasnt for me and him cooping I would have left the series at 3.
Sorry to hear that there will be no trainer for this, especially since on the steam forums they have a trainer already there in a steam thread.

Never played any of the Far Cry games, after seeing the steam trailers for Far Cry 5, thought about it maybe giving it a try...

Am glad took the time to read the forums here and on steam about the many problems associated with Far Cry 5. Once read that micro transactions was included along with a anti-cheat system in a single player game... Decided right then and there not to bother buying the game...

I'm waiting for a trainer before I buy Far Cry 5.
