I hope EasyAntiCheat doesn't prevent an awesome trainer. Really want to bypass the silver bar when it comes to unlocking in-game items.

No, but I will wait on a sale.

As long as those items can be unlocked only with silver bars our trainer will not touch Ubisoft's micro transaction system as real currency is involved.

We'll have to see and wait.

They original far crys and far cry 2 and 3 were and probley still are to some people

Just hope its not constant action and hawks armageddon like 4 and not too boring like primal

Hey all.

I preloaded and installed Farcry 5 before. I was annoyed that upon install of the game extras I was not informed of easy anticheat being installed, no terms of service or user license agreement. Nothing in the readme.

I tried making a shortcut for the game and using the commandline -eac_launcher this is meant to disable easy anti cheat and for this game it does nothing at all. unless im doing something wrong "F:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Far Cry 5\bin\FarCry5.exe" -eac_launcher in the target section should of worked as it did for watchdogs 2.

I bet they disabled that. Either way Ill play the game but I am not buying any of their micro transaction cheats.

I haven't played a Ubi game since FC4, so I was really excited about this, I had no idea that they were using any type of anti cheat for a singleplayer game, that's ridiculous to me. I like to play my PC games with a trainer, and as long as i'm playing singleplayer, I think I should be able to. I'll only buy this game if CH is able to get a trainer working for it.

I agree. It's because of the micro transactions there are time saver packs that if you buy them give you some resources and other things. Basically Ubisoft want us to pay to cheat.

I was more annoyed that I was never told Easy Anti Cheat would be installed with the game it just was. Its tied into the game so every time you install the game it installs easy anti cheat and if you uninstall or delete easy anti cheat from the install directory then you cannot run the game.

I complained on the Ubisoft Forum saying how I don't think its right and asked if it could be like Watchdogs 2 when I can add a command line argument and disable easy anti cheat but get forced into offline play. I don't want to destroy others gaming experience online but I do want to do as I wish offline in single player.

I can confirm that silver bars are NOT required, but are there to unlock items will real money, you can use in game money you find from looting to purchase customization items. A trainer option to edit the value of your in game money is possible.
