I know this is an old game, but it was recently released FREE on Epic and I had always wanted to play it. The old cheat still works great, but the original bug still remains. You can NOT get past the Live Examination mission because the mimic NEVER spawns. I have tried all kinds of things to get passed this, but I am unable to. So I am basically at a dead end. I have been searching for a saved game file that will get me past this so I can continue. There was once a saved game file posted, but it no longer available. In hopes against hopes, I am asking if anyone might have a saved game file that is not bugged and is passed this mission. Thank you for any help!
