Also does this even run in > Windows 7 or does it require DosBox?

This does work on win 10 (and I assume 7/8) with little effort (patches/links etc at trekcore and k******academy dot com)

Interplay's earlier ST games have come out on GOG so there's hope for this

as for trainer options - no hull/shield damage? fast phaser/photon recharge? infinite energy for ships systems? Fire when cloaked?
