The fixed trainer has already sent. But you can use the (or any other) script in combination with the trainer anyway.

I'm sorry to disappoint but savegames are not shareable and I don't have the time to play through the whole game myself so I have to pass on this option as well.

I'm not sure if there is a direct quest requirement, but the vendor in the Resistance Camp who sells pod programs (and I think where you can fuse chips) is the one who can upgrade your pod. However, I'm not sure if there is a direct quest requirement to accessing that NPC as a vendor. The weapon vendor has a brief requirement, but I'm fairly certain after talking to Anemone for the first time you will have access. If not, you might have to leave the camp area and enter again like other areas (like Pascal's Village).

as DireCyphre described, the pod upgrade vendor is in the resistance camp. when you get out of the teleporter-check-point-thingy and look towards anemone, you have a make-shift hospital to your right with a couple of cots inside. the vendor is a woman and she's usually standing to the left of the entrance to the hospital.

i think you have access to her as soon as you reach the city ruins.
