Re: the infinite consumables option (num 5) and power cells

It seems that a not-insignificant number of skills (flak cannon, mines, grenades, etc) use "power cells" as a form of ammo. You can refill power cells in the field from a single resupply point (boxes with a yellow lightning icon over them), which would suggest that they are a unified source for all the relevant skills that use them.

In any case, attached is my save-game. I have unlocked the Omni Grenade skill that you can test this with. When it loads, there should be one of these resupply points positioned prominently a few feet to your left.

I too would like to see an infinite power cell option.

Agreed, would be fun to try some other skills. As it is now, the power cell skills are worthless compared to unlimited zero cooldown abilities. 😵

I agree i was a bit disappointed to see power cells arent affected by the options.

Try using CoSMOS to see if you can change the value. We might can look into the option this upcoming week.

    www.cheathappens.com/cosmos.asp

It is possible to do it with Cosmos, however I don't know how to make it into a script. So will have to redo it each load, death etc.

I've attached my last savegame file with all three abilities from combat tree that includes power cells. Trip mines, flakcannon and omni grenade. Not sure if only the save file is needed or if the other "profile" files and such is needed as well. Included them all, the save is the manual save made 25/03/2017 @ 21:15 (9:15 PM).

You need to activate skill points cheat or my save will lose a lot of his skills and you might not be able to use it.

So, cant you use CoSMOS to give you a bunch of power cells and then use them for whatever and save the game? or do you need the option to be on every time you play?

No, you have to freeze it. If I set above the original 3 power cells I have for one ability, it will just revert to the lower value. If I freeze it, it stays the same number. If I load a game while I have it frozen it crashes. However I can zone and teleport without the value breaking. Haven't tried switching skills back and forth.

The power cells aren't a "ammo" slot per say. The three different skills all use "power cells" but they are each independent of each other. With different speccing you can have different amount per skill. In my current build I have 4, 4 and 3. If I use a grenade and go down to 2, the others will still be 4 power cells each. So it's different for each ability.

I would also like to add that there are 2 more abilities that can use the "power cell" function. Barricade and Concussive Shot. All these power cell abilities are from the combat skill tree. Concussive Shot needs to use a certain spec that makes it use power cells. Otherwise it is on a regular cooldown.

I just found out this curious things: When I changed my bullet type of my weapon into sticky grenade style: The ammo is also be reduced while I'm shooting. It s like something related to "grenade" is reduced just like some special skills using "grenade"

I read the skill points sticky Topic and some of the ones in here on it, I understand that having the skills on and maxing your skills then coming back will reset them if not turned on before hand, What i don't understand is how i never used the skill points option #8, only the quick level up option #., I got level 132, I hand picked every single one of my skill points (Which took along time), then logged out to desktop, came back the next day, and my character was level 3 with 2 skill points and everything was locked again as well as squad members. Reloading the save and reloading the save with either option enabled did nothing. I thought using easy level was the only legit way to get max points without having the reset? Am I missing something? Again, I never used skill points option, not once.

EDIT: Upon Loading a save with the option " . " on for Easy Level, the game reverts your level to 3.. This is pretty frustrating but can be fixed by turning it off, going to the main menu and reloading the save from there..

P.S. There is also an IN GAME bug from EA that makes it so upon death on certain planets, your character does a full reset back to level 1 with no weapons or ammo or gear.. I'd avoid dying on any other planet besides Eos if possible.

What Mission was you on, when you got your skills reset the next time you logged on?

Im level 120 and the Mision, EOS: Defeat the Kett, it takes a really long time to kill enemy because their HP scaled with my level
