Does the new updated trainer still needs us to "manually" turn-off the internet connection? ... or does the trainer itself will do the jobs, whatever is required to be offline, for us?
The PDF instruction didn't say about "this step" needs to be taken or not.
the trainer is using the standard UPLAY and/or STEAM registry entries to locate the install directory of the game.
It shouldn't matter WHERE you place the trainer or WHERE the game is installed as long as you are using legitimate steam or uplay to install it. The uninstall data in the registry holds the location to all legitimately installed games. If you are using some other 'version' then likely the trainer won't work
I don't wanna be a joy breaker but the trainer doesn't works... at least for me. Maybe I'm missing something. I've an error messsage that Windows can't find 'GRW.exe'. I have a legit Steam version (c:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Widlands\GRW.exe). Sincerely I don't know what did wrong or what I am missing.
Read the PDF that came with it, it will explain how to run it.
