The fixed trainer should work, see video below. Please make sure it says trainer version 1.13 on debug log otherwise you are still using the old trainer.

When attempting to activate the trainer at the main menu, I get an "Error" response.
I've verified that both the trainer and game versions are both 247173 (Tubular Update).
This happens whether I press F1 or click on the "activate manually" button.
I have the trainer set to run as administrator.
I do not have any anti-virus running.
The trainer debug log:
6:14 PM: Oxygen Not Included, Version: Build 247173 Tubular Upgrade AUTO-UPDATING, Distribution: STEAM
6:14 PM: Trainer version: 1.14

I'm not sure what else could be wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Delete the trainer and get a fresh one then delete the temp folder
C:\Users\usernamehere\AppData\Local\Temp
and the CH work folder
C:\Users\usernamehere\Cheathappens\Work
reboot the PC, verify integrity of steam game files, extract the fresh trainer and try again.

For some reason this one trainer refuses to open for me all of the sudden. It was working fine up until a few days ago, and I don't have a problem with any other CheatHappens trainers except this one. I attempt to launch it and I get the "Customized For:" splash screen, but then it just closes.

I've tried adding the offline key to the folder. I've tried reinstalling and clearing my temp folders. I have all relevant folders added to my antivirus exceptions, but I've also tried completely disabling them. No luck.

Anyone else ever run in to this problem?

Create exclusions in your security software for the trainer exe file and the Work folder located here -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\ and always run the trainer with admin rights.

I discovered an issue today with Oxygen Not Included Version 247173 where the trainer was not working, despite following all the instructions. As it turns out, it was not the trainer at fault, but the game itself. The seller I bought from was selling hacked coppies and I dealt with it and rebought my game elsewhere. Reason Im posting this here, is because I noticed 2 reports filed for an update request. If anyone bought a bad copy off of ebay, or just downloaded a crack which the trainer does not work on, I highly recommend reporting the seller if the copy is not legit, and if you downloaded it somewhere for free, just buy the game. Tying up the programmers to fix issues that dont exist for a hacked game is not just wrong, it ties them up when they could be making new trainers or even fixing up legit trainers for other titles. If you can afford the memborship here, $20 to $25 isn't that expensive in my opinion for a game.
On a side note. If there is a trainer for a game I do own, though I havent played in a while that needs updating, just message me and if I can verify it does in fact need an update, youll get my vote. If I don't own the game, I wont vote for it, sorry.

While I was looking into the file structure of the game, I came across something in the menu system that looked almost like admin options, so did a search and discovered this game actually has a debug mode. Looking further, discovered how easy it is to enable. Using just a text editor, make a file called debug_enable.txt. Dont put in txt, the program should do it for you. This is because so many complained it didnt work which was caused by the file being named debug_enable.txt.txt where the real file extension was hidden. Once you make this file in the data section, load your game up and hit the backspace key to activate dbug mode.
The trainer works great with the debug feature. There are so many commands and options, it would take pages for me to post, so to make it easier, here is a link to a youtube post that has a step by step turtorial on how to enable it and how each feature works.
