So i have this wierd issue that only happens with this trainer. I tried googling a solution but fail to find anything on it.
I downloaded the trainer as i have done many times in the past with many trainers.
Now when i start the trainer (as administrator offcourse) i get a popup from windows asking me with wich program it should open tmp files.
So the trainer i downloaded (tried different versions) is an .exe but for whatever reason not recognizes as such.
Does anyone have the same or does anyone know a solution for this??
Please exclude the trainer exe and the -Work- folder in this location -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\ from any scans of your security software.

Downloaded latest Sniper Elite 4 trainer, starts up trainer than game presses F1 now telling me can not find game. Please help!
Do you use our trainer with the DX11 version of the game?
SO, enlighten me as to why no DX12 trainer?
There is nothing to enlighten as this decision was made and posted about by Caliber just 2 pages away.
But let me help you with finding it -> Link

'K. Thanks!
I've confirmed I'm running the DX11 version, the process is called SniperElite4_DX11, and I start the trainer first, then the game from steam (legit steam copy w/ all DLC), but still get Trainer cannot find game. My single report got ignored, but who knows maybe other people are having the same issue.

Did you try things like run trainer with admin rights first, then game and activate the trainer when you're actually in the game? Or ALT+TAB out when you're at the game's main menu and activate the trainer?
Please clear your browser cache/Windows tmp folder prior to this and reboot your PC.
