Looks like his anti-virus was still running when he fired up the game.

'Closed' like in shut down the program? That will do no good until you exclude the file or folder from being monitored from Kaspersky.

Open Kaspersky, go to Settings (little cog wheel in the lower left corner of the window) -> Additional -> Threats and Exclusions -> Manage Exclusions -> Add the trainer file, run the trainer with admin rights.

Tested with the latest Steam version of the game and all good here - Windows 10 x64 v1703 (Creators Update) with Defender + SmartScreen + Firewall enabled, trainer exe excluded from any AV scans and ran with admin rights.

It doesn't matter where you store the trainer exe. Just make sure to exclude the trainer from any security software scans and run it with admin rights.
