Something new happened today. Norton start picking up the temp file and report it has SAPE.Heur.da4d
since the temp file generated is different each time I can't seems to use the restore and exclude feature to let it go.
any suggestion what I can do?
Hmm, the tmp file created for me is always the same: ~CheathappensTrainer.tmp in the Windows tmp folder.
Please try a wildcard exclusion like this -> ~CheathappensTrainer*
Just put all your trainers in a specific folder and exclude the entire folder rather than each individual file.
It saves you AND the trainer developers time.
As it is always recommended to have just one folder for our trainers (a necessity when using our Trainer Manager) and have this folder excluded from any antivirus/other security software scans he was asking about the created tmp file which a lot security products tend to flag more often than the trainer exe.
Some tmp files are created in the Windows tmp folder, some in the -Work- folder here -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\
hi guys. I just downloaded the game on steam today and may I know is this trainers still working?and where should I paste the downloaded trainers file?
As far as I know the trainer is working, you download it and extract it to any folder that you have added to you antivirus exclusion list.
Find your antivirus on this page for further instruction if needed

Trainer is causing occasional CTD. Anyone knows a workaround for this?
Do you use a Webroot as security software? if so -> Open Advanced Settings -> select Scan Settings -> uncheck Detect Potentially Unwanted Applications -> Save settings and create an exclusion for the trainer file

Nope, I've always used AVG and all my trainers are excluded and safe from it. This is the only trainer that's causing CTD but like I said "occasionally", since it only happens once every 3-4 hrs of gameplay
