Some people have probably found this (think it working in the 2014 version as well) but I thought I would share anyway. If you quit and save your progress immediately after you are caught out, bowled or stumped and load back into the same game you will still be at the crease.

Could have been patched already I haven't played for a few days.

i would point out though in career mode for me at least i try that but the game doesnt continue to the next week and you end up just replaying that whole game again but i may be doing something wrong not sure..
