I can't help but think that this was a pun lol, even if not that was funny enough I laughed a good solid 2 minutes heh.

I don't need Windows disabling things it doesn't see as necessary. Anytime they do something gaming related it turns into a mess....I can see it disabling fan profiles, gaming keyboards and mice, and who knows what else.
Ha! Optional... You know like Cortana used to be. Microsoft is going the way of big brother - manufacturing incompatibilities to promote the use of their own products. I'll stop there while I still can.
Disabling Cortana after the Anniversary Update requires knowledge of either the Registry (if you have the Home version) or the Group Policy Editor (if you have the Professional version). It cannot be fully disabled through conventional settings.
