I had the same issue the other day, but I realized that the trainer manager wasn't updating the training for Rimworld. Once I manually updated to the latest trainer the crafting was working again from the benches.

Was that TM 2.0 or the original TM, if it was the new 2.0, may want to let 0x90 know it may not be updating properly. I'll check it later when I have a minute as well.

Yup, does not seem to be updating in the TM, will advise 0x90.

For the record, it does work on the GOG version as well. At least the latest posted version of the trainer does and I haven't used the Dev mode option (enabled that in the Options menu for the game) or the stacks option (no idea what that does exactly).

And there does appear to be a little bug when using the crafting option. Sometimes the instant the item is crafted, the terrain goes dark. Seems to happen more often if the crafted item is on-screen the instant it is created, rather than off-screen. Save/load fixes it, so it's not a big issue. And as mentioned previously it doesn't apply to furniture, but only crafted items is great already.

And of course I'm still unofficially hoping the speed-option can be added, since it should technically not require any investigative work except to add the already existing functionality to the trainer. I would recommend the default value be at 2x since it can get CPU heavy at high speeds.

Just want to point out that a speed option is not required. Enable dev mode and hit 4 on your keyboard, and the game will run as fast as it can. Using Rimthreaded mod runs the game at 9000 ticks per second, compared to 30 or whatever it is normally.

Character editor is not really required either, as there is a mod that lets you do that. Literally called Character Editor.

Seriously, it runs single-threaded by default? That explains why it stutters when increasing the speed using third-party tooling. I did discover the 4th speed, didn't realize it was connected to the dev mode.

Thanks for the mod recommendations. Something conflicts with the terraforming mod though. Getting a lot of red log entries while terraforming now.

Has anybody tried the trainer on the newer versions? I'm reluctant to update, but I really like the tree replanting feature.

EDIT: One of them is definitely bugged, causing my pawns to be standing around aimlessly without finishing work.

EDIT2: Definitely RimThreaded, it causes quite a mess.

The Legendary Crafting option is now causing CTD's 2/3 times. Before it only generated the error, but now it's lethal. Save often. Really really often.

Then again, maybe it's only my game. And it seems to happen mainly on high speeds, I just crafted a lot on speed 1. Odd.

By the way, thanks for updating. Those were a LOT of patches in a short time.

Same for me the legendary crafting isn´t working. At first some items will get produced but then an item is stuck at the bench forever.

I suggest sharing save games by posting them and message the trainer maker that you have up'd a save if it is even possible (don't own it so not sure if saves are sharable). Be sure to include path to where it goes and detailed instruction on how to duplicate.
