I just downloaded the Alan Wake trainer Version 1.05.16.7103 and Im using Win 10 64 bit but when I run it it loads then says "Alan Wake trainer has stopped working" with a button to click "Close Program", the trainer window program opens and does some kind of check and then the stopped working message pops up, Im connected to the internet and im using the GOG.com game. I have tried to run the trainer in "run as administrator" but its no good. What should I do? 😵

Hmmm, you might try the latest trainer for the GOG version which is 1.06.17.0155.

Thanks for the idea but when I tried it "1.06.17.0155" the game crashes with a popup to close the program, I tried a new game to see if it would make any difference but nope. At least the 0155 trainer is not crashing! Lol!

You will need to update your legally purchased game to 1.06.18.1326 and then download the latest trainer or downgrade your system to Windows 7 without IE9+.

Thanks all, I found out that I can re-download Alan Wake from Gog which will be V2 but thats 8 gig's of download.... Is there not a way to get the version I have to work with the patch I bought from this website made for each other? I mean $10 for a patch that does not work is robbery.

Sorry, the compatibility of each version is clearly marked on each trainer's description.

Yes PW and the one I have bought said "game version = 1.05.16.7103" which is the one I have for my game so I bought a patch that does not work, it is number 4 in older patches on this web site when you do an "Alan Wake" search, I have the correct version and game and a patch that does not work.....

The only thing I missed was the compatibility for the OS, win 10 was not listed so please tell people that win 10 for whatever reason will not work with this patch.

It's already clearly marked as such, you just didn't pay attention or check it before purchasing.
