I get this message when I try to run the trainer.

Thank you for your quick response, thanks for the service.

It is likely something I am not doing or doing incorrectly, but I cannot get the trainer to launch, it simply crashes before the GUI appears.
Does not matter if Smartscreen is on or deactivated, and redownloading after clearing cache did nothing, it does not seem to matter wether or not the game is running first or not...
Any ideas?

Please move the downloaded trainer RAR file into a folder previously excluded from any antivirus/other security software scans and extract the trainer in there. You also need to exclude the -Work- folder in this location -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\ and run the trainer with admin rights.

If you already did this please check for every possible interfering software like online-banking software, one-click tools or backup software.

Thanks for tips, but it did not make any difference, unfortunately.
As for interfering software, I have tried paring down running software to the minimum, as in shutting down every program not related to the game or steam, and shutting down every background process that I am comfortable with shutting down.
Seems to behave just the same way, no matter the steps taken. 🤔

Something is blocking the creation of the tmp file in the Work folder I mentioned.

I just looked at the /work folder now, as I launched the trainer, the .tmp file did indeed get created, along with a .net file, but shortly later the trainer crashed and the files deleted (which I assume is intended behaviour)
So it seems to me there is some other problem on my system. 🙁
