That version won't launch for some reason. I get the normal splash screen, then nothing. The previous version launches just fine, as do other trainers.

I'm confused. Is this happening for anyone else?

Have you created a scan exclusion in your security software for the Work folder located here -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\

Yes, I have. It still won't launch. Other trainers will launch, the previous version of the Darksiders WE trainer launches, this one won't get any further than the splash screen.

I am really puzzled by this one. I'm not even getting any error messages, or warnings from my security software telling me that it is blocking any malware.

What security software and Windows OS edition&version do you use?

Have you looked up the debug log of the trainer and/or the Windows log entry related to the trainer launch with Windows Event Viewer? Please copy&paste it here -> Link (set duration to at least 1 month) and post the link to it.

I am using ESET Smart Security Premium. Windows 10, latest update (like it gives you a choice).

I have no idea where the debug logs for the trainer are.

I'm having the exact same issue. Curiously it launched once, but wouldn't activate. It said "Invalid trainer user" or something like that. I closed the game and trainer and when I tried to launch the trainer again it just showed the splash screen for a bit and disappeared after a couple of seconds.

I just ran the trainer and ... we need to look into this as this is a trainer hiccup - sorry for the inconvenience.

OK, cool. Thanks for the update, it is nice to see that it wasn't just my PC being a unique pain in the rear.
