The option for view enemy works, but ends up just freezing the game and just shows enemy troops and not your own. This was also the case in the last version.
Maybe you could have reported this in the last version so we could have fixed it in this version. Maybe if you submit a savegame we can fix it for the next version.

An option named 'View Enemy' of course only shows the enemy troops because you should know where your own troops are without a trainer.
And if you followed the instructions as described the game shouldn't freeze:
F10: View Enemy - PAUSE the game first! This option is only temporary.
Toggle on and you can see the enemy units. You can click
on them and look at their stats as well. Toggle back OFF
before unpause, or you won't be able to control your troops
and you may make the game unstable.
The Trainer can find the game with F1. But to change the unit data works not every time and to change the army data doesn't work ('failed'). My version of the game is 1.06

You might find the solution to your issue already in your post. Trainer and game version do not match due to the game's update to v1.06.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
Although the newest trainer, 1.09 REV 21114, has the correct executable filename, it's actually for a game named Syrian Warfare. I've tried downloading the trainer twice with the same outcome.
Guerilla warfare is responsible for this - we'll fix this asap.
