Do you have any mafia 3 MODS installed like from nexus or someplace like it?

Any other software on your PC with security features other than defender?

Did this happen from the get go or did the options all of a sudden stop working?

I just used this trainer not more than 5 days ago, on Win8.1, and everything worked for me.

The trainer keys were mapped to some of the same keys I used already just playing the game, and I noticed that clicking on, like, Getting In Car, would activate Numpad7 in the trainer, and repeatedly getting in and out of cars made the trainer unstable. So, I remapped the keys, and everything worked.
BUT, saying that, the Teleport option is KNOWN to be kinda buggy. Its in the readme that it might stick your guy in place (which happened to me lots of times) or make the trainer unstable.
I stopped using it, and the other options were just fine.
One other thing I did, was kill the trainer, kill trainer manager, and kill steam, and restarted them all when I had an issue, and that resolved all issues, including being able to teleport again.

No mods ever downloaded or installed for any Mafia game.
No other software installed other than OS and games.
I have not played Mafia 3 in a long time. Now that I have the DLC, I reinstalled it.

Could the fact that this is a GOG.com version make a difference?

The trainer is written for the STEAM version of the game. If you like to have a GOG version you need to request it here and it needs to be funded first -> Link

Yup, thats it.
GOG uses their own servers to connect to, and steam uses its own.
thats probably exactly why.
I stopped buying new games from gog because of this, and stick to steam, because even without a trainer you cant connect to your friends who play on steam. They are completely seperate, like Ps4 and PC, they cant connect to each other.

I have steam version of game and downloaded steam version of trainer and getting message at main menu that trainer cannot find game.

Trainer is being run as administrator with antivirus turned off.

No mods installed, fresh install of the game.

Please verify that the version of the game and the trainer still match - current trainer is for v1.090.0
