It crashed on outdated trainer. THe trainer which has been updated today should work fine. Please deltete the trainer clean your temp folder, reboot and download the latest traienr again.

Press F1 at main menu after crash.

other games has no problems with cheat happens trainers.
only problem occurs in this game.

trun off anti v ( avast ) , run admin.

Big Patch today (4.1GB) as game leaves Early Access, will test if this still works, though i doubt it, hell they may have even removed the ability to access the debug menu all together, will let you know.

I hope its possible for you guys to add the ability to have uber races customized and playable...it would be awesome, i love uber races in these types of games.

you can mod the game to make all traits cost 0 points, its very easy.
Edit steamapps\common\Endless Space 2\Public\Simulation\FactionTraits[Major].xml
Make a backup before hand though
