ok not sure what happened recently but i had just started a new game of stardew valley and decided what the heck ill go for broke and use the trainer
but when i run the trainer it shows the typical
customized for message on screen then notepad opens with the file
~Mnn133.tmp
now as someone who has been around the the game board a few time and had never noticed this kind of issue before.

i am using windows 10 pro
w/ bitdefender total security
I have disable bitdefender while testing this.
i have downloaded the trainer 2x just to see if it was a corrupted download.


any advide on how to get the tmp file back to executing.

You may have to reset all of your windows extensions back to defaults. Disable BitDefender and exclude Windows Tempt folder from scans. Right click run as admin on trainer and make sure you have full rights to the Windows temp folder.

I have done as suggested
but now when i run the trainer i get a how do you want to open this file
If i was on linux i would say im missing the executable permission but i know this is not the case in windows.

Something is still blocking it or you don't have proper windows permission to run the file or are not right clicking run as admin on file. Try temporarily completely uninstalling all AV, firewall and other security software and then see if it works. Otherwise you may have to reinstall windows from scratch to determine what is causing the issue.
