Cossacks 3 Discussion
Trainer Tools and Resources
Perhaps the trainer don't work well with the new patch in relations to the other stuff going on.
I am resuming my gameplay of Crusader Kings. So disappointed.
Im glad its not just only me but:
I can confirm that 3 options , attack/health/def are funky to get work.
About that super attack , it only adds to mele, not to ranged attack , so if you give that to musketeers then you're f***d. These options doesn't work correctly i think.
As for me even restarting the trainer didn't worked out , i guess sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't
Also on 25th ,its been patched thats why
from the patch:
- Game now detect some possible problems in system settings and third-party applications that may lead to game unstable state and give advices to fix it.
It might not work because of new patch.

the trainer is adjusting those values because they are HARD CODED for the template for that peasant. Maybe it's best we remove it if the AI is using the same template for enemy troops.
The ATTACK and DEFENSE ratings are hard-coded into a template/struct that all the units of that TYPE use. So if you pick one pikeman and adjust his attack rating, then all the pikemen you have will have the same rating because it's part of the pikeman template.
now if the pikeman template is shared both for player and enemy units (which I have never seen before), then it's possible the enemy will have the same ATTACK and DEFENSE. If you click on an AI troop, does it show it's ATTACK and DEFENSE?
Let me know whether to remove the ATTACK and DEFENSE options altogether. No need to have the AI using that as well..
Also, yes, the ATTACK rating is for MELEE units. Apparently the RANGED units have a different address for that rating.
Thanks for feedback. It's likely that we will have to remove the 'super' options because the templates are all shared by the same units for opposing forces, which is stupid, but here we are.
So if options do not appear to be working, use the RESET TRAINER option.
I am not so certain now that the AI is using the same templates as you mentioned. I think the game is just bugged and the AI vs Human is out of balance no matter what difficulty it is on. So far this is with each patch. When 18 peasant can''t kill two enemy peasants on normal mode, you know something isn't right. I can't figure how someone could actually play without the trainer. I did see a lot of reviews on steam about the amount of bugs. Although some are being addressed. I am not player multiplayer or campaign so the bugs I am seeing might not be mentioned. I am playing the "random map" with like 7 AI.
Anyhow I would halt on doing any trainer work on this for a while yet. At least until they don't have a patch every day or two. I'll come and check it out again after a few patches and see if the game mechanic's balance has been sorted.
Once the balance is fixed I can see if the trainer is working properly.
Thanks again for the work put into the trainers
we are putting out a new trainer anyways, with some new useful options. Maybe you can test it when it's out and let us know if the problems disappear
