Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Message Board  

I tried running this and the game both as Administrator with the AV set to exclude this trainer. But No matter what it does not find the game. I tried a couple different versions with beta versions of DXMD and non of these trainers seem to work.

Is the trainer actually looking for the DXMD.EXE in memory under the user Administrator?

I can see for myself in Task manager that the trainer is running under the actual Administrator user. -> \\Computer\Administrator

But Even if I go in and force the game to 'run as Administrator' the game always runs under My user and not the Administrator user. -> \\Computer\MyUserName

I also notice that this trainer, and all the ones I cannot get to work, is saving the debug, runtime, etc. in /Users/Administrator/Cheathappens/

the ones that work store their data in -> /Users/MyUserName/Cheathappens.

Any other options? I have tried running the game and the trainer both as Administrator as well as turning off the AV for it but No dice.

What AV software do you use? Have you created a scan exclusion for the Work folder located here -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\

I have the game currently installed and our latest trainer is working perfectly fine.

Never Mind, I found out how to force it to run without elevation so no more run as administrator required and now it works. Why even bother with making it an elevated process when it runs without it. or In my case only without it.

yes i did but that had nothing to do with it. It was the elevated privileges that caused it to run under a different user id than mine. once i got rid of the elevated privileges and had it running under my user instead of Administrator it works fine.

you might want to test your trainers on a standard user account. The one I play games on has no Administrative rights, because games do not need to be making Administrative changes on my machine. If they need something I will see it in the error logs.

Windows 10 system. Latest version of game and trainer. Trainer starts but crashes within a few seconds.



Tried these steps: Please delete your current trainer, wipe your browser cache/Windows temp folder, reboot your PC, download the latest trainer, run it with admin rights and try again.

Nothing changed.



Never had this issue with a CH trainer before. Any ideas?

Sounds like an anti-virus program issue,

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and
make sure trainer is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed.

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens

may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again.

Have both latest CORE Link (Both of the Net-Core MUST be installed x86 and x64) and FRAMEWORK Link from Microsoft.

Updated/deleted everything you mentioned, rebooted, shut off antivirus, ran as admin. Still crashes. Is there a log somewhere I can look at to try and figure it out?
