So, I went to a new solar system, but now I'm trying to find my way back. 20 minuets in free roam map and I can't find it. Anyone know if there's a way to find previously visited solar systems?

Press P and check your discoveries !
Your first planet should be there in that list on the far left side. Systems /Planets discovered.
Whether or not you'll find it on that terrible map is anyones guess.

That part I know. However, I am talking about finding it on the map. I know if you pick a random solar system, you can hit F to set a waypoint. What I'm looking for, or REALLY wishing there was, was a way to either set a waypoint from the Systems/Planets tab, or, a way to see the lines on the Galaxy Map that will show me the visited Solar Systems.

For instance, supposedly, if you're on the PS4 and on the galactic map it'll pull up your past discoveries. From there, you can set a waypoint to any past discovery.

    HUZZAH! I figured it out!

First, don't trust the control map on the galactic map, even if you're still using defaults. It says hit tab to search for discoveries. Well, I was just hitting random keys and either Z or X did a search. Then, it said hit D for nearest, well, I hit X again and it went right back to my fist solar system!
