I recently purchased No Man's Sky for PC and installed it today. I am experiencing some lag/stuttering. I thought I met the minimum requirements. My laptop has the following specs:

    - Windows 10 64 bit
    - 8GB System RAM
    - intel Core i7 Processor
    - 2 Nvidia GTX 870Ms with 6GB each in SLI mode

I read on other sites that the game requires 4.5 OpenGL? I checked DXdiag and my laptop/graphics cards do support OpenGL 4.5. Not sure what else to do and how to proceed. Thoughts and help GREATLY appreciated

    Anyone else experiencing lag/stutter also?

I am running 960 2gb with an i5 6500 and 32gb ram and it works fine on medium. Make sure you turned off the fps limiter. However it may be how little ram you have.

Under grapgics settings in the bottom right set fps limit to "max".

The game has various different issues. I depends on the someones PC.

Total Biscuit has framerate drops and serious hitching issues.

For me I have framerate drops and light hitching.

Some people cant even run the game. There is people with systems with high end CPUs and GPUs that run this game below 20FPS.

I have mostly everything on max and run into small drops.

    1080x1920
    Borderless
    FXAA
    V-sync - Off
    AA - 8
    FPS Limit - Max
Nvidia Control Panel - V-sync Adaptive

No idea if this will help anyone else, but this made it playable for me.

Well, it's new so I'm sure there will be plenty of patches to address these issues if not some video driver updates.

Just saw this and tried. Pretty good: Turn off V-Sync in game, FPS set to Max, Use nvidiaInspector and force on V-Sync for the game profile also turn on Trippe Buffering.

Game is Much smoother (yes, this is still not perfect, but the best solution so far).
