No Man´s Sky Message Board  

Well, tried every trick in the book, but this one has me stumped.
Downloaded the latest version last week and it worked like a charm.
But after a brief vacation it was suddenly removed from my pc. I redownloaded it and tried to run it with the Trainer Manager, but I got an error that I'm not allowed to access the file after which the executable removes itself.
Tried running it without the TM, same results.
Administrator mode, same results.
Compatibility mode, same results.

I'm at a loss here and cannot figure out for the life of me what is going on.

Could someone please help?

Very likely your security software is deleting/quarantining the trainer exe file.

You need to create scan exclusions for the trainer and the Work folder. This Work folder is located here -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\

Look up your sec software's quarantine. Maybe you can restore and exclude the trainer directly from there, otherwise you have to do this manually.

Alright then, this is regarding the trainer. Not this trainer but a potential future rendition of it.
Basically what it boils down to is:
Will we still be able to train No Man's Sky after the release of NEXT which is set to bring a working actual multiplayer to the table?

Won't know until release and after it has a chance to be looked at by the team.

I HOPE that NEXT doesn't kill the trainer...

The trailer was beautiful. Can't wait to play everything out of this game, finally getting the game I bought 2 years ago!! If the trainer DOES get killed off by this update, I'll just try to make do w/o it, it'll be tougher that's for sure..

It will most definetly kill the trainer, every game update, has needed a trainer update, and this is the biggest update to the game ever. Its fine, ive waited this long for the game to get good, i can wait a little longer for the trainer.

When exactly is this supposed to drop again?
