I have a problem trying to run trainers from CheatHappens. They are unable to detect my internet connection. This has happened before when I changed my PC configuration. I was using a ram disk and after I removed it none of CheatHappens trainers could detect my internet connection. When I reinstalled the ram disk the trainers authenticated properly. Recently I permanently uninstalled my ram disk and now none of the trainers will authenticate. I tried to create an offline key but the information on how to do so isn't accessible and the search function comes up empty no matter how I word it. The trainer instructions say to install the trainer in the game directory. I have win7 64 bit so I put my Witcher 2 trainer in my STEAM game directory in the x86 tree. Is this the wrong directory? Do I have a permissions issue?

It would be easier to figure out what my problem is if there was information on the trainer troubleshooting page on how to generate an offline key. As far as I can tell this new website no longer has it. Performing a search for "offline key" also comes back empty.

    PostScript:

I finally got the link working so I can resolve this issue. For some reason my IE doesn't see the hyperlink and treats it as text. However, Mozilla worked just fine.

Creating an offline key is found in the trainer troubleshooting guide

Thank you for your assistance. I feel like a rock for not trying a different browser before I posted.

If that fixes the issue, you may need to log out of your main browser and delete your cache and cookies.
