That's not what i meant i literally don't know where the save files are on my computer so i couldnt attach them if i wanted to, im sorry if that wasnt clear before.
From the notepad that comes with the trainer itself:

yes.. basically what has happened is people tell me I have to play this game for several more hours to reach these few and far-between challenges that arent even necessary to complete the game.. and nobody has sent me a save game..
so with that said, no freeze timer has been made

I think the reason nobody sent a save is because someone playing the game
is trying everything they can to finding the rune trials & completing them
by themselves to the best of their ability...so that later, they can send
a complete save for everyone.
however, what would you say if I found the solution in another trainer?
a trainer, courtesy of HoG. it has a freeze timer cheat plus other
cheat options such as infinite double-jump & no overheat for the chaingun.
I'll send you the trainer for you to examine. I hope it'll be
useful for you to copy the newer cheats into the currently-existing trainer.

PS: when I first tried this trainer, I learned that infinite ammo
also applied to the BFG & chainsaw...so, how does this inf. chainsaw
cheat work? same way, or seperately?
i'd say that we had our trainer out 4-5 days before they did and that they add options to their trainer after coming into our forums to see what people ask for. I'd also say that they don't have 1/50th of the number of trainers and content and patches and updates to contend with that we do here, which is why savegames, when possible, are helpful and important...
because people had issues with ammo and the game crashing or some other problems wiht the first trainer, we redid the ammo option which required that the chainsaw needed a separate option for itself to make it work.

I have tried all the recommended fixes. But the trainer keeps saying it cannot find the game. I ran the de-bugger and reports a injection error. It is the latest version of the trainer as I just downloaded it yesterday. The game was purchased through Steam and the trainer reports this when I start it.
The DOOM trainer works for me if I first launch the trainer as admin, then the game from a desktop shortcut as admin, with the shortcut target being the game .exe located (on my machine) at:
C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DOOM\DOOMx64.exe
I do not open my Steam account first. When I launch the game from the shortcut, it automatically opens my Steam account. After DOOM loads to the first menu screen I press F1 key, the trainer says something like "Wait a minute...", then "Trainer activated" when it finds DOOM running.
After that, the trainer works as expected during gameplay.
