Hi there i downloaded the trainer, disabled all av etc the usual steps. The trainer attempts to launch then asked me to install net core which i did (in fact i installed all versions 1 through to the experimental 5.0, each time it would continue to ask for the core until i installed all of them. Now when trying to load the trainer i no longer get the message asking for core to be installed but rather it acts much like a splash screen, trainer briefly launches then closes straight away.
That sounds like your AV, firewall or other security software blocking the trainer. Also make sure to right click run as admin on trainer.
Make sure you've installed BOTH of the .NET from here:
Have all of the following installed.
.NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime x86 Link
.NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime x64 Link
.NET Core Current Runtime x86 Link
.NET Core Current Runtime x64 Link
.NET Framework (get latest) Link
(Both x86 and x64 of the .Net Core MUST be installed)
Reboot PC when done.
Ironman mode is for the PC dispite the name it is really the basic game mode of the game and is the only way to earn stream achivements, it is likely the mode you are currently playing the game on. The mode has restrictions ot the saves made and also disables the console mode.
The trainer overcomes those issues while still allowing achivements to be earned
to access the console command you need to press the ` (top left on your keyboard) also known as the grave key. if that dosn't work you can also try Shift+2, ALT+2+1, Shift+3.
once the console window is open you can then inter a large number of cheat code
research_technology - for technology
cash {amount} - for more cash
resource - to add more resources exampe resource consumer_goods 10000 for 10k consumer goods.
you can find lots more commands to play around with at paradox wikis Link or stellaris cheats Link
I hope that helps a little 🙂
thanks very much krugan i had no idea how to open that console.lol maybe i can get it to work now, very much appreciate it thanks
