. . . getting me through a tough game. COD Advanced Warfare = impossible to get through some portions without cheats. (Even WITH cheats I've had to repeat some sections a number of times. Call me a clumsy player) So thanks once again, CH!! Long may you program and prosper.

On a side note -- in my experience, some COD titles will not work with a cheat and just shut you down the instant you activate it (ie Black Ops). Anybody had any issues with COD titles like this?

Is it the retarded tank mission you're talking about? It's the only mission where I was constantly getting obliterated to pieces, other than that it was pretty easy on normal difficulty.

No, haven't got that far yet. Uh oh, and I thought the shooting at cars/helicopter bit while jumping from bus to bus was hard . . .

COD is DEAD It Died when they went modern with it..... Along with focusing on MP more. Which is crap and boring. Give me Long Story let me get attached to the characters and keep me hooked for HOURS not something that can be done in a day or just over it.

I agree in part -- I prefer more believable soldiering in present day conflicts/settings. I'd really like them to return to that kind of format with a good storyline but I guess they have to keep the kiddies entertained with newer and bigger explosions. I never did play multi. (Who wants to listen to a bunch of teenagers swearing and name calling?)

I think part of my attachment to the series is the earlier games were sooooo much fun. (COD 1, 2, 4.) Subsequent titles have become less engaging but still worth it if on sale. (I really enjoyed Black Ops 1, the Vietnam bits and the soundtrack were fun)

TOTALLY agree they have chintzed out on single player campaigns, I'm actually surprised they bother at all anymore. But all that said, the franchise still draws me. I keep hoping Captain Price will magically appear alongside Kevin Spacey . . .
