    Anyone find away to get the numpad 9 option to the stop dying from the bubble eyed monsters curse? I can't advance in the extinguish 3 flames mission due to this.

    Put their HP to nil with the zero health cheat, hit them with firebombs. There's only like 5? (maybe 6) of them in that area.

    I did used this trainer a couple of times, but nothing major. Just to obtain a few nice weapons and armors with "always drop loot" and to buy few items from handmaiden. I did all of that using offline mode with my connection to internet disabled just in case. Never recieved this warning about wrong data and still can invade, see a ton of summoning signes, etc.

    As far as the warnings and such... stay OFFLINE and you won't have to deal with those. Make your default OFFLINE and never go ONLINE. It's really that simple.

    You'll know if you're truly in offline mode because you won't see all the stupid messages like "try jumping" or blood puddles from people that died.

    There's no reason to go online if you're using a trainer anyway unless you're trying to troll people that aren't. If that's the case, then I say enjoy your well-earned ban.

    Back on track:

    Do we know if the "No Ill Effects" option is working now? Having the bar hidden and still being cursed, poisoned, etc. was getting kind of annoying so I stopped using it.

    The books in the Grand Archives are being uncooperative, however and it would save time if I was curse-proofed, lol.

    @Supersize
    I didn't patch yet, I had the problem with the version that was on until yesterday. Today I didn't play.

    @Caliber
    As I said, the health keeps locked even if the trainer self-close, only the other things stop working and of course, since there is no more trainer, you cannot activate things (or deactivate the locked health, that needs you to re-open the trainer, reactivate it and then disable the health lock).

    - -

    So still, I guess I'm do only one with this self-closing problem. I remember I had this problem with Dark Souls 2 too, but with a different machine so no, it's not "my PC" related.

    I am confused.

    1) i have no idea why your trainer is self closing..
    2) if you turn an option on, the trainer writes to a spot in memory indicating the option is ON. therefore if you close the trainer, the option is still ON to the parts of the trainer that got injected into the game
    3) every so often, the game overwrites its own code, which then the trainer options that are ON will suddenly stop working unless you have the trainer running.

    best,
    Cal

    I know that sounds confusing, I know how a trainer works I'm into programming too, but what I described is exactly what happens. The trainer closes itself but the health lock keep going on, while the other locks (stamina and FP) stop to work instantly.

    If you try to heal nothing happens and if you level up adding health or use some ember, you get the health bar longer but of "empty" life, that's still locked at the point when the trainer was still working.

    ---

    To answer about importing, I can say no, I didn't import anything, is a fresh install. The only thing may be some conflicting software, otherwise I've no clue. I'll try to link a process monitor to try to understand what is happening, then I can give you a better explanation that could help (maybe) others (if there is someone unlucky like me ^^).

    Now I'm gonna try the new version of the trainer and I'll let you know if something change, thanks anyway for the fast support.

    Update: With the new version of the trainer just released everything works fine and there is no more self-closing.

    Good job

    I'm kind of confused by something.

    I was playing with Always Drop Loot on as a test on a throw away character and then turned the option off. I closed the trainer and the game fully and went off to do something else. When I went back to the game later to just play legitimately I found that for whatever reason Always Drop Loot seemed to be on no matter what. It won't turn off at all. Even restarting the game, opening the trainer to enable/disable the cheat, even redownloading the game won't return the drop rate back to normal.

    Is there any way to turn this option off for good or is my game just ****ed at this point?
