unless i am mistaken that function is for the windows store version only? with all this crossplay nonsense..
Since there are people who give me crap for my grammar and is to lazy to check my profile I will say it here as well. I am dyslexic so give me a break as I *TRY* to spell correctly.

When I open the zip for thsi trainer, it only contains the readme file.

Seems to be only the Steam version causing an issue.

Download is fine on my side.

Have you excluded/whitelisted our website in your security software or temporarily disabled all online/internet related scan options

Or tried and switched to another browser or disabled some browser add-ons (ad-blocker or script blocker)?

Not quite sure what the issue was but seems to a Firefox thing, used Chrome and all was well.

    Cheers

First of all, thanks for the trainer!!

Secondly, I could use a bit of advice...

This is the first time I've ever had Windows Defender try to block a CH trainer.

I am making the "false positive" report to Microsoft right now, just like the CH instructions say to do, but I wonder... isn't this a Microsoft game? Should I be drawing their attention to the fact that a trainer exists for their game? I'm afraid they'll try to patch it out, like those jerks over at Ubisoft did with Wildlands (and ruined one of my favorite games).

Is it better to report the false-positive to Microsoft or just whitelist it on my PC and keep my mouth shut? Am I being paranoid? 😆

P.S. As the Steam version of this game was just unlocked as part of January's Humble Monthly Bundle, and Windows Defender is an extremely popular security product, I imagine a few threads / replies will be popping up about this. Best to report the false positive to M$, I guess...

Thanks again CH for all the hard work!!

You're welcome! They checked it out and classified it as "not malware."

We already knew that, but it's nice to have it official.
