Feedback, Complaints or Problems

While playing COD III today Steam notified me that I had been banned. I was playing CAMPAIGN mode OFFLINE using the latest trainer, WTF?, is this something new? I've been playing on steam for years, NEVER have played multiplayer or co-op. What's going on?

Is ANY! part of that game connected to the internet? Scoreboards etc etc.

Not to my knowledge, My laptop is though. Perhaps,once I log into the game I should turn WI-FI off.
