I played DL and the Expansion for 85 hours overall in Singleplayer and went hogwild with the cheat happens trainer. Just disable all Multiplayer Features and make sure you play offline.
DL is a really great game and the CH trainer makes ist SO more fun :-)
Agreed. DL was far and away the best Zombie type game I've played and the trainer was great. Take care to avoid any MP options and there shouldn't be any problems with VAC or bans.
Can i use it on single player and then join my friends online?
As already answered by PM: This is not a single-player offline situation. We do not condone or support cheating in an online/multiplayer environment (which co-op actually is).
I have a quick question. Has anyone made an attempt to cheat with the online settings disabled, then close the trainer and restart the game and activate the online settings and play in CO-OP?
I understand there's the risk of being banned, but can anyone confirm that as long as you aren't actively using the trainer with online functions enabled, you can later return to the online functions with the trainer not running and the remnants of what you edited with the trainer without getting banned?
Or, does the game simply log odd changes to your game and ban you automatically when you go back to trying to play with the online setting enabled?
They removed the VAC ban ages ago for this title, so go nuts

So, I might be redundant, but just to double check: It's fine nowadays to go into singleplayer without pressing buttons, use the trainer for some money, turn the trainer off and join a friend in co-op to tailor the game a little?
