So just today I started having trouble with a couple trainers executable. RE0 and Icewind Dale Expanded both running through Steam. It seems that my system is trying to open these two trainers differently than the others for some reason all of a sudden. I say this because when I try to open a trainer that works, Arkham Knight or RE1 from Steam also for example, I get the pop up to click run or cancel and the trainer opens when I click run.

However, for RE0 and Icewind Dale I get a different popup that says, "Do you want to allow this app from an unknown publisher to make changes to your PC?" and there is a Yes and No button. If I click yes I get the Customized for Kain1003 message and then nothing. I tried turning Bit Defender, my AV off, as well as Windows Firewall, but it doesn't seem to help. These trainers used to work, but it seems like just recently my system is trying to open them differently than others or some setting I haven't found yet got changed.

I'm on Windows 10 by the way.

I just realized that the Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain trainer has the same message display as RE0 when I try to open it and that one opens up fine.

Please disable/uninstall all antivirus, firewall and other security software including browser addons and extensions. Right click "Run as Administrator" on trainer and game. Please note that some security products may still block access to trainer injection even when disabled and must be completely uninstalled. If this is the case, please contact the product vendor for instruction on the proper way to prevent the trainers from being blocked by their software or find a better alternative.
