Anybody having trouble using the the trainer in skirmish? When I use the trainer in skirmish the AI is defeated within seconds and I never even attacked.
Just got this game. Played for the first time today. I'm having the same problem. I just don't use that option. I keep healing my units(#4) until I can get strong enough. I was sad when that kept happening but with the other trainer options working fine, I can still have a lot of fun with this game. Thanks CH crew!!
Responding to the issue of instant wins for skirmish, for future readers unlimited resources causes overheating of the carrier when power is applied. If the AI is putting power into their systems when it is on, you win cause they blow themselves up (you will as well if you put power into your carrier).
Guess I'm out of 500 request pts given I put a report in saying the trainer wasn't working like it should for that ability. Just don't play with power while it's on, and pray the AI doesn't either while you get your boost of money.
P.S: It works on the AI too, they get the same resources as you, so expect heavier and constant attacks if you use it. All other trainer abilities work as intended.
trainer was created and intended for Campaign.
No idea if options are used or shared with Skirmish.
The game is a mess to work with, and many functions of this game aren't even created in memory or compiled until you actually 'do' something.
If people are requesting update to trainer, please make sure the trainer is actually not working at all for specific options.
