I think if something doesn't work it should say Trainer On Strike

Well I think I figured it out... After hitting 1, don't just click over to your guy and hit an option, actually wait a few seconds THEN do it. through trial and error ive noticed that if you do it right after hitting 1 that tends to be when you get the error.

but it may vary i suppose, but either way, all the options work. just have to time it right is all


Also not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but Treasure Hunt turns is under 4 Byte and can be frozen, so good way to get a number of chests. just don't over do it, 5 or so ruby chests should do the trick


Actually it appears I was wrong.
The error code will pop up if you don't activate it on the correct Enemy, activating 1 on the 3rd enemy should enable the trainer with no errors. each time ive gotten the error was when I was activating on the 1st and 2nd enemy, the 3rd activated every time.

Okay, so to correct my previous post.

The trainer will only activate if Option 1 is activated on the correct enemy, which is usually the 3rd or 4th.

If you get an error it means you didn't activate the trainer on the correct enemy, so all you have to do is open the trainer and activate Option 1 on the correct one.

That is simply the reason and the cause for the trainer getting an error code.

I'm desperate. 😭 Got a new computer today. Win 10 Pro 64bit. The trainer does not work anymore. Have disabled Windows Defender and made all the steps from the FAQ. Get this message all the time:

Trainer Starting
Gems of War
Debug Info located: C:\Users\###\Cheathappens\Debug\Gems of War.debug
AMD A10-7800 Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores 4C+8G
x86 Trainer

The following error happened: Invalid memory access-->Error#1149

Any other ideas? 🤔

As I previously stated, you have to activate the Trainer (Numpad 1) on the correct enemy
If you don't you'll get a memory access error

If an enemy you activate it on gives you the trainer error, close and reopen the trainer and do it on a different enemy, its usually the 3rd or 4th enemy in a battle that has 4 enemies

This works without fail for me..

Numpad 1: Set Up Capture Unit - this must be done when you are in a battle
before you make the first turn. To use this, first click on an
enemy portrait to open up it's info cards. Then press this option.
You will hear PLEASE WAIT and then ACTIVATED. Next, click on a
friendly portrait and then use the options below.


You can actually do it with a friendly portrait first as well.. You need to click the portrait OPEN so that you see the health and info.
