Hello. I have been having a lot of problems recently to download the trainers. Everytime the download stops because Windows Defender is prompting a Virus Detection (Trojan:Win32/Spursint.A). You would say. Your PC is infected or your Browser is Hijacked. Thought the same. Deleted Chrome and reinstalled from scratch 3 times now. Made a full search with Malwarebytes and Windows Defender on the system. Heck, i even checked the registry one by one to see if there was any trace of the so called Trojan on my system. Found nothing. But here's the tricky part. I can't reproduce the problem on Firefox. If i use Firefox there's no virus detection. Even if i run the scan directly on the files. Sounds like it's chrome allright. Someway something in the file gets changed when downloading a file, that makes the antivirus detect the file as a trojan. The problem is that I checked with virustotal, and The files get prompted for various types of Malware. Of course related to hacking tools, etc. No Trojan:Win32/Spursint.A to be found. I'm clueless. The Virus problem only happens when downloading from Cheathappens. Made a full test downloading from several sites, thinking that somehow something was injecting some code in my downloaded files. But nope. Can't use chrome anymore to download the trainers. Anyone has any idea. or had any similar problem/experience? I thought it was related to the extensions. Deleted them all. To no avail. Still the same problem. I hope someone could give me some more insight about this problem that i have. Any good scaning tool or something. Thx. in advance.
PS (I know the most obvious answer would be to switch browsers, but i have all my configurations, sites and stuff in Chrome, just trying to fixt it )

I would start by disabling all chrome extensions. Next, try several different trainers by different trainer makers including free ones from our site. See if it happens across the board. Post here which ones you tried and we will try ourselves but so far no one else is reporting an issue and we process about 20,000 trainer downloads per day.

Adding to PWizard's post: You can use incognito mode to quickly test this. Incognito always defaults to an out of box experience with no extensions, plugins, and user session info loaded.
    Your bitterness, I will dispel

Ok. I got SpyBot - Search and Destroy Home Edition along with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool. Many folks at the Malware Forums suggested me this piece of software. Hope to take care of this problem with this. Thanks for the help guys. I'll report my findings.

Well. After searching and searching, i think i finally Found the Culprits. There were one of these 2 Extesions that were injecting some code when a zipped non passworded file was being downloaded. The Program that made this possible was Adwcleaner. I strongly suggest to anyone with a similar problem as mine to try it.

    The extensions were:

    ljkalbbbffedallekgkdheknngopfhif extension - DuckDuckGo Extension.

    and

    fbcohnmimjicjdomonkcbcpbpnhggkip extension - MyJDownloader

The thing that worries me, is that both of these were from a reliable source (the chrome store). Talk about malware/virus in the store. It's like they are not testing these for viruses or malware. Better be careful next time. :-/

Thx. Guys. I hope this helps to any other people that encounter the same problem as i did.

And i got Chrome Back. Yay. :-D
