I am building the equipment to get to the institute amd the only thing I can't seem to power up is the stabilized reflector platform, I can't get any wire to attach to it. does anyone know how?

it all has to be connected together just to start off with that, the wire I believe on that the platform? you fit 2 pieces together then the wire goes way up high. I could be thinking about the wrong pieces tho. I don't remember all the names.

The 2 pieces should snap together and then they can be powered.

the pieces are snapped together but I can't get the bottom one powered up.

it should power when you power up the big "tower" thing can't remember it's exact name at this point, if not try to put another generator in the mix and see if it helps

I have had everything powered up for a while now......but I stand on the platform to be told " I can't talk right now" and Ingram asks me if I need help building the stuff that I already built.........

Reload earlyer save. I have everything built the first time and it worked fine.

Make sure everything in quests is done, may need to teleport elsewhere then back and it may reset itself.
Talk to everyone their and wait till that little green prompt
tells you where to go.A message box should come up as well??
I don't know how the Commonwealth survived until we turned up.

Use 3 large generators and a small power pylon. Connect everything to the pylon. Be sure the platform is placed into the emitter (or whatever the large tall piece is).
