None of the 1-3 options should be running at the end of a battle. Always make sure you toggle them off before each characters turn is over.
That doesn't seem to actually make much difference; all options disabled before the mission ends and yet I often get the gibberish page with a "continue" button that doesn't work.
Additionally, another issue that comes up a lot: using options 3 and/or 4 during a mission sometimes eliminates all movement and attack options, and the only way to recover the game is to reload the mission. To get the trainer to actually work, usually have to restart the game... And sometimes even that won't make it work in the pending mission.
Did anyone request that it be retired? I'd contribute credits to keeping it active and working.
I have also had the problem with the unlimited movement and attack options sometimes causing the available actions to disappear.
For me the trainer has worked fine about 75% of the time. I have tried to work out what causes the problem by trial and error but can't say I've worked it out.
There are a couple of things I have found though. The problem seems to be limited to one or more characters not the whole warband.
If the options disappear, moving back though the blue pips until you get to within what have been your legal movement range and disabling the cheat options will bring back the list of actions. What I do is I activate the movement cheat at the beginning of a characters turn, if the options go away I know not to move too far. I have found however that if you do actions that 'interrupt' the movement, i.e.e things that after you do them, you can't retrace your steps, like climbing, jumping down, looting etc and then activate the cheat option again, the movement points do get reset. So you can keep going with the character as long as you don't move father than what they would normally be able to before doing an action.
If you do get stuck in a situation where you can't go back (engaged in combat mainly) and have not action options, then saving and exiting then reloading will solve the problem.
The attack point cheat will also work on the enemy during combat if they have the option of counter-attacking.
Ultimately I would rather have a trainer that works most of the time rather than no trainer at all. I would say that if you do continue it, an option to add warpstone clusters in the smugglers den would be nice if possible and if retirement does get considered because of people complaining I would ask you to let us have the option of using credits to keep it supported.
Also the game has been patched, but they messed it up and put out the wrong version. I've not had a chance to see if the trainer still works.
