Hi hard west players. I want to re-affirm for GOG players that the latest 1.4.2 trainer works for 1.5 GOG version.

At first i didn t think it worked, because the trainer.exe didnt boot up properly. After some tips on other threads, i disabled my antivirus and firewall (only firewall didn't cut it) and then booted up. This greenlighted the file in question. A restart of your system is then required, because the trainer did not work in-game after actually be able to use it.

For anyone out there who thinks it is not working, make sure you do these steps. Go above and beyond.

As for options that i have tested.
Numpad 1 (refill hp) works. It sets hp to set amount. When hit, it will revert back to your max hp.
Numpad 2 doesn't work (refill AP by set amount)
Numpad 3 (refill ammo) works the same way numpad 1 does.
Numpad 4 (freeze hp) only works when not being killed. If damage is greater then max hp, you are killed.
Numpad 5 (freeze AP) works.
Numpad 6 (give set amount of cash on campaign map) works to.

Please forgive me if i have tred on any rules. The latest post in this thread is 2016.

Whenever I try to run the trainer it refuses to run. I run as admin, it starts for a second, and then quits. All versions have the same issue.

Extract trainer and make sure trainer/launcher/editor is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software which may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used.

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens

may need to be added to exclusions as well. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again.

Win 10 insists this trainer is a TMP file!
I do not have any anti-virus running, including win defender!
Anyone know what causes win10 to see some trainer EXE files as TMP files?

Defender is built into Win 10, you need to add the folder the trainer is in to the exclusion list and the work folder the trainer uses

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens

you may need to reset your windows default apps as well.

If defender did flag it you will need to go into protection history and find the trainer.exe and set it to ALLOW

I discovered that Win10 re-started the win defender and I had to turn it off as well as another setting which would re-start defender.
I still can't get any functions of the trainer to work.
It activates at the main menu, but nothing works in the game.
Would REALLY like a GOG specific version of the trainer!
