So just to clarify...
due to a small update that was pushed out on the uplay client for this title months ago i am now having to buy the game on steam with all the dlc again just so i can use a darn trainer?
Its just weird as the game still reports itself as being version 1.51 in the title screen yet none of the options work at all for the uplay version
Uplay Plus or regular Uplay? Either way, why not just file an update request or request a new trainer for Uplay Plus?

Sorry to jump in here once again but just wanting a final bit of clarification from users who play on the STEAM version
So i own the game and all its DLC on uplay (not uplay+) and as said the most recent trainer does not function without using shady tactics to downgrade the version wherein some options do not work as intended i.e. infinite health and invisibility but the rest for cash and ammo/crafting do work perfectly
I have read a few times about people and maybe staff saying to just use the steam version of the game and i would like to hear from people if it is definitely the case that the most recent trainer from 2018 works PERFECTLY with the steam version,
I ask as it is currently on sale for £15 with all the DLC and i would really rather not end up spending the cash again on a title i already own on a different distribution platform only for the trainer to be non functioning

I'm re-installing the game through Steam and may give it another go, I picked up the DLC on sale. I'll try to revert the updates and I'll let you know how the trainer functions if I can.

Game versions seem to line up and so far all options work as intended.
