i got the game early from amazon. thinking i can just unlock in steam and go into offline mode and play it. there is a redemption code in the box.

do i still need to vpn to play it?

I do hope the will not ban all those people, reading the agreement will help and yes in the eula you get a frozen account and a ban later if needing it. People do not read those eula and then **** happens.

So for your sake i hoop that the will not ban your ass now. Sorry to bring the bad news. Its a risk to cheat but cheating with valve its you know stupid. But nobody cares just do whatever you want to do and cross your fingers.
