I was just at the IGN webpage and they say they will have their review of Fallout 4 up and on their site by 8 AM EST.

It's a bit pointless really.

I know there has been an embargo, and review sites can't help it, but at 8AM PST a lot of people will be playing the game across the world (NZ and Australia have it unlocked then) and nobody will really give a crap what IGN have to say.

And I generally never give a crap about reviews, given that everytime a review or the majority has disliked a game OR had PERFORMANCE issues, I have enjoyed it greatly and had GREAT performance, and I have an issue with not caring about other people's opinions I have to make my own xD

Like for me I can run Batman Arkham Knight with no issues maxed out and even Witcher 3.

As expected, fallout 4 isn't the masterpiece everyone was hoping for. It's a decent game with no innovation but the same good concept of the previous chapter imbued with a few established mechanics like housing, romance, companions.

IGN, really? Worst site to get your reviews from. You better off getting reviews off of Youtubers, but it's still too early.

IGN are generally paid to do these kinds of AAA reviews.

But I think that a lot of people have set their expectation level for this game a little too high. The same will be Half Life 3, it'll be a good game whenever it comes out but it might not be a Last of Us type "master piece"
