Can't help but think it's an elaborate April fool's joke... xD

It´s no joke, the trainer is working just fine on the latest version, but only if your playing on keyboard and mouse. If by some reason you switch to a gamepad like Xbone´s, game needs to be restared and a new interface "gamepad friendly" is used and no option on the trainer Works anymore.

Haha I was hoping it wasn't and that it really works. I'm stuck at work and my heart soared when I got the notification, but then I immediately thought "They're not getting one over on me!" Glad to hear it works and can't wait to get home to use it. And thanks for the tip about the controller; I usually use one and would have felt duped! This is one PC game I prefer on the KB/M though, as most top downs/dungeon crawlers.

probably because one of the 12 different executables the game runs on gets used that the trainer doesn't recognize. It may be that the gamepad friendly version is a 32 bit .exe and the trainer is 64 bit.

I have tried all the exe from the game in x64 (VanHelsing_x64, VanHelsing_x64_11, VanHelsing_x64_11_win10, VanHelsing_x64_win10) knowing that my game is set to run with VanHelsing_x64_11_win10 normally and the trainer cannot find game for any of them with my steam version of the game...

Hey Gwendor, there's some tips about your problem either earlier in this thread or under Van Helsing 3. This is another fault of the developers and I believe some have tried having the trainer right next to the executable for the game. I would encourage you to read some of the threads as most have found an answer to this query. Cheers and let us know how you go.

Hmm... the game keeps crashing with the trainer
The trainer find the game no issue there, but it crashes each time with all .exe

Any idea how I could fix the issue?
