Call of Duty: Black Ops III Message Board  

First of all, I didn't cheat using the trainer with Black Ops III totally online, I used it while the game offline since it's not necessary to keep Steam offline just in case I need to access my other games faster, yet my first two Steam accounts got double TAC banned. Also, I played the game's multiplayer and co-op campaign clean.

It's best that Caliber retire trainer development for this game than to get more people's Steam accounts TAC banned and complain about not being able to play in VAC/TAC-enabled servers for putting the game totally offline and using the trainer. And no, this trainer does not work with DLCs at all.

Can CH Staff clarify about bans and what Trainers (if any) are safe to use on which Call of Duty games?

no. you run the risk of ban using anything on these games. we have no knowledge of why, what, or how you can get banned even in SP mode. The developers of the game are the best source of this info.

Anyone else get game banned for solo zombies, I've been doing it since launch and I just tried today and got one, rip full game + seasons pass. Just warning anyone else before they get banned

For me its been 205 days that i've been banned on steam (VAC) and to be Honest... i never play multiplayer so only zombies/EE and even if you get banned VAC and you had the season pass game (100$ worth...:S) you still get to have the map that you get with DLC1,2,3,4(just not the multiplayer map one but still have to download them:P) so for me its not that bad, im nearly always playing solo on zombies. and here is a gyazo of the ban.. It should only be a "Game ban" as it's called and that means while it will show up under infractions or what it's called it's only for this one game assuming of course that it was the Treyarch anti-cheat detection that got you flagged.
(If you check your Steam profile either via the client itself or the website it should show more clearly whether it's a game ban for a single title or a full on VAC one.)

Happened to me too as I wanted to wait for some patches first, turns out only the first patch was specifically for singleplayer fixes and since then there's been mainly zombies and multiplayer related fixes (A update was released yesterday so it's still going.) but this also includes so called "security fixes" which there's no real details on.

So after having waited and having read up on how it works I tested the trainer via offline mode in single-player but at that point Treyarch had switched to also detecting and banning even offline players so yeah.

It's fairly harmless as it's only for this one game as I see it but if you were interested in legitimate multiplayer then that's going to be impossible on your current account if you do get tagged.
(Better to lower difficulty and go through the SP content without active software in the background either CoSMOS or any other blacklisted software from trainers to possibly other stuff like various overlay software for framerate monitoring or whatnot.)

Ban itself is permanent, a few years ago it was undone after one year but Valve increased VAC and game specific bans to both be permanent and I don't think anyone who has been banned has managed to have Treyarch lift said ban since they are going to see that you were using unauthorized software regardless of being offline or keeping to SP mode or both.
(Certainly plenty of posts about it on the COD Steam community forums for this game.)

I have completed the game.
The way u said you would get banned if u used the trainer online
if went offline to play the game again deleted the game before i put steam on line again
Would i still get banned.

(just want to try out what the more powerful weapons are like with unlim ammo
